Skype today rolls out Skype for Mac 2.6. There's even a feature exclusive for Mac users (i.e. not available yet in Windows versions). Today released Wordpress 2.2 with many exciting new features including integration of WordPress Widgets in the core, full Atom support, a new Blogger importer, and AJAX-based comments editor. There are some improvements when installing new plugins, now the system will make the necessary checks to ensure that the new plugin will not break your blog so you can install with confidence.

The news in Wordpress code is that it is now switching all Javascript from prototype to jQuery and the team still need volunteers to finish the transition for all the admin page. The decision goes back to December 28, 2006 when Matt posted critical look at Prototype Js. In that time it was about switching to Mootools, jQuery, or Dojo for WP 2.1, but it have been a little delayed to WP 2.2. Wordpress is now stick to jQuery for the next releases.
