What's more annoying than your favorite Firefox extension not making the leap forward to the shinny new version of FF you've been dying to use? Very few things. Justin Scott of Mozilla has issued a call to developers to bring their extensions current, or face being banished to the sandbox.

"Firefox 2 was released 7 months ago, and around 800 add-ons hosted on addons.mozilla.org are not yet compatible with it. Firefox 1.5 is no longer officially supported by Mozilla, so we're requesting that authors update their add-on's compatibility to a maxVersion of at least 2.0.0.* no later than 12:01AM Pacific on Monday, July 9, 2007."

So, if you're an extension developer who hasn't made the switch yet, get on the stick and get coding; No, really, we're watching you.. get to work!
